Rules

Blackball rules with no golden breaks or ducks.

1 point will be rewarded for a win and 0 for a draw or a loss.

In the event of a tie for top we will play a race to 3 shootout.

In the event of a draw for 3rd place, it will come down to the game against the two players.

All races will be to 6. Please record bnd's and reverse dishes. Score card to be kept at top spin.

All matches are to be played at Top Spin.

You will have 3 weeks to play your match, see fixtures to check dates your games need to be played by

After each fixture has been played the score card needs to be uploaded to the FB group for your division, or uploaded to the site.

I hope all players will play fairly and enjoy the competition but it is under my discretion. Please us the contact form for any disputes.

Match Format

One game (race to 6 frames) every three weeks.

Scores and photo of card to be uploaded through this site or FB group by the listed deadline (see fixtures).

Score card needs to be completed with both players signing.

Scores and league table will be updated once a week.

While it is possible to play games ahead of schedule, be aware the league is to be run over multiple months.

Table costs and use

General rules

A Top Spin membership is £40 a month to arranged at the bar
Membership of this site does not class as a Top Spin membership
If you are staying on after your race to 6, the bar staff need to be notified.
- Your remining hours will be at full price if you are not a member
Playing dates:- If possible can race to 6 games be played on days other than Friday or Saturday to prevent conflicts with other events.

Race to 6 rules

Pricing for two non Top Spin members-
- £5 per hour between two non Top Spin Members (£2.50 each)

Pricing for one non members and one Top Spin member -
- £5 per hour for non member, member is covered under their membership

Match Play

All matches are played in accordance with standard English pool rules.

Player Conduct

Proper behavior is expected at all times during league matches.

Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes, players are encouraged to speak with a committee member.

Top Spin Single League was established to provide a competitive yet friendly atmosphere for pool enthusiasts in Southampton. From our inception, we aim to bring together players of all skill levels to enjoy the game, develop camaraderie, and enhance their skills. Our league has is just starting out, we are promoting healthy competition and community spirit among players. Starting with a league of 5 divisions we aim for tournaments and events along side. We remain committed to creating memorable experiences for every participant. Join us as we continue to celebrate the sport of English pool and the bonds it creates.
